Fay Ehlert was an American playwright active during the mid-twentieth century. She is known for the one-act play The Undercurrent, which was published separately and later included in theatrical anthologies, including 15 American One-Act Plays. Although little biographical information about her has been preserved in reliable historical sources, her work remains part of the record of twentieth-century American one-act drama.
